Hi, I have a bump on my nose bridge after I fell on my face (nose) in the bathroom. This happened last summer, and it was swollen for a week or so, then it went hard and never sort of left. What can I do about it? I used to have a small bump, but now it's bigger, and I hate looking at it.. -K

Both Microdebrider and radio frequency turbinate reduction are safe methods to reduce the inferior turbinate. They both effectively reduce allergic rhinitis as well as increase airflow. Both procedures are technique sensitive and operator dependent.
Your photos show the expected degree of columella swelling often seen 2.5 weeks after rhinoplasty even if no tip work was performed. Stay relaxed as worrying will not help. Be sure to attend followup visits and use them as an opportunity to express any concerns to your treating surgeon.
The tip or dependent portion of the nose takes the longest for the swelling to resolve. It can take up to six months for all of the swelling to resolve and the tip to look smaller so I would give it time and follow up with your surgeon.
