Can I have butt implant removal and BBL on the same day?

I appreciate your questions! Depending on where the buttock implants are positioned, you can get an implant removal procedure and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) done in one single procedure. If the buttock implant is in the muscle, patients can get both procedures done on the same day. On the contrary, if the implant is located above the muscle, then it wouldn’t be suitable to perform both procedures at once. After removing the implant above the muscle, there would be a dead space and if you inject the fat there, it will be reabsorbed, and there would be a high risk of infection. We often recommend to remove the implants and wait at least three months then you can uses your own fat to increase the size of your back side, breaking up the surgeries into two different ones would give you the opportunity to find an expert in each procedure, be sure to choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in this kind of procedures, i suggest to schedule a face to face consultation and verify if the implants were properly placed intramuscular or instead placed on top of the muscle.
