Can I use financing to pay my deposit? Or does it have to be cash ?

I was approved for $13,500 in financing . Care Credit ($7000) & Alpheaon Credit ($6500). I’ve been speaking with places and they stated they wanted a cash deposit to hold my spot & that I couldn’t use any of my financing . I was just curious is that common or or are there some places that except the financing for the surgery and the deposit ?

The financing options will vary with the practice.  As you know, there are several companies (Care Credit, Alphaeon) that finance plastic surgery procedures. Patients can also use their credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX).  Speak with the patient coordinator of the PS you are considering to perform your procedures about the possibility of making a "layaway" payment for the deposit in cash.

Congratulations on your financing approval! Certainly, some plastic surgeon practices (mine included) accept financing for both the procedure and the deposit fee required to book the surgery. However, surgeon practices have different policies regarding financing plans and deposit fees.
