I may stop the Seroquel anyway but Lamictal is for the long term. [I am especially conscious of the risk of allergic reactions that Lamotrigine can cause. The doctor had warned me that the risk for allergic reactions is especially high when titrating up but could occur at anytime. So far, I only ever have a very very minor rash on my chest, every now and then, that clears within an hour or two. By the time I would plan on having the surgery, I would be on the dose of 200mg for 6 months already.
