Question

I had smart lipo only surgery 2 months ago. Dr told me he got all of the gland by using a sharp edged instrument within his lipo suction technique My puffy nipples have gone down. But I have to large lumps under my nipples. You may be able to notice them in the pictures. Dr keeps telling me that they will disappear but I am starting to get nervous. I do not think the lumps were ther right after surgery

Male breast tissue is relatively vascular and the aggressive cannulas that are used to remove it can cause hematomas to develop. These harden, then slowly resolve over a few months. Don't worry.

Thanks for your question and pictures.  It can sometimes be difficult to completely remove all breast tissue with liposuction alone.  You may require a revision procedure in which the tissue is removed.  However, wait until at least 3-6 months after the procedure to allow all inflammation and swelling to resolve.

Sometimes all the breast tissue cannot be removed at the time of liposuction. You may need further resection in the future. However, I would wait 3 to 6 months before making that decision. This excision does not always result in the best look. Good Luck.
