Laser companies are always coming out with the latest and greatest different wavelengths primarily to sell more lasers. The sad truth is that lasers add little if anything to conventional liposuction properly performed and choosing between surgeons on the basis of lasers is barking up the wrong tree. Look for a surgeon with experience, a great reputation, and great reviews. If you were told that you needed a tummy tuck because your abdomen has loose muscles and loose skin in addition to some surface fat, be prepared to be disappointed by lackluster results if you for lipo alone. TT and lipo are not interchangeable in terms of results.
Thank you for your question, Sue. SmartLipo Triplex is laser liposuction with three different wavelengths that offers some additional skin tightening over typical liposuction. A tummy tuck addresses loose skin and can repair a separated abdominal muscle. It often also includes liposuction. Some advanced techniques in abdominoplasty require no drains and quicker recovery than was formerly possible. I suggest you talk to a board certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in body contouring for either procedure as your result will be highly dependent on the experience of your provider. Best of luck to you.
what matters most is the person doing the procedure not the tool, although I do not find tha laser that effective , much less so than ultrasound (VASER) which I use exclusively for people who need body shaping and skin tightening. I suggest a formal consultation because if you have any loose skin to start you will also need skin surgery and liposuction alone will not give you the best of results. Dr. Emer.
Smartlipo is laser assisted liposuction. The Triplex is the platform for Smartlipo. It allows the surgeon to choose between three different wavelengths to treat the skin and the fatty tissue. Good luck!
These are all part of the same process, laser assisted liposuction. This really needs a photo for , Comments of abdominoplasty vs liposuction.
If you've had a cesarean, wait 6 months for lipo at or around the abdomen. If not, 3 months should be sufficient for your pregnancy changes to revert back to normal. If you're breastfeeding, wait until your done before undergoing lipo.
Fat in this area needs liposuction and I like VASER here more than smartlipo, although ultimately its the person doing the procedure that matters most. I suggest seeing an expert. Sometimes I will combine with ThermiRF to get an ultimate in skin tightening from the procedure. You can...
Should be temporary in most cases. It depends upon the area treated, numbing fluid, etc your surgeon used.Close follow up with your plastic surgeon is recommended.
You've got large areas of dead skin probably burned by the laser. This needs to managed by an expert in burns immediately before it gets infected. See your surgeon and get referred to a specialist if he/she lacks expertise with this complication.
Precision TX is a handpiece for the SmartLipo system. It 's the same thing, just downsized for convenience when working the chin.
The most important factor in choosing lipo as a solution is that the area not have too much loose skin. Removing fat will cause the skin to shrink. However, if there is too much skin, it will not shrink enough to prevent sagging and wrinkling. In that situation, removing some skin with surgical...
