I have 3 kids and have developed a slight bulge in my lower abdomen that will not go away with diet and exercise. I have a fear of surgery so I have been looking into non surgical options. Emsculpt was recommended. But will it really work for this? I hate to go to multiple offices for consultations as I just don’t have the time for that.

Answer: EmSculpt Candidate Hi There,Thank you for your question and pictures. Based on what can be seen it does appear that you may be a good candidate for EmSculpt. On average patients experience a 16% increase in muscle and a 19% decrease in fat. However you really do need to consult with a local physician in person to determine if this is the best treatment to help you reach your goals. Best of luck!

Answer: Non-Surgical Options For Lower Abdominal Fat Thank you for your questions and pictures. You seem to be an appropriate candidate for either EMSculpt or CoolSculpting to reduce your abdominal fat. EMSculpt with give a more diffuse improvement. We have been seeing consistent results with about a 19-20% reduction in fat and 15% increase in muscle tone. CoolSculpting will reduce localized pockets of fat and you can expect about a 20% reduction per treatment. These are the 2 best non-surgical options in my opinion. Sculpsure results are inconsistent and discomfort is more than EMSculpt and the newer CoolSculpting applicators. More important than the device is the physician operating it. Make sure you see an experienced physician who has multiple treatment modalities for an in-person consultation and examination. Best wishes.
