Patients with moderate skin laxity of the lower face and neck are ideal candidates for the Endolift Laser which is FDA approved and used throughout Europe. I brought it to the Connecticut area to offer my patients an alternative to a surgical facelift. When used in combination with PDO Threads and possibility facial fillers, the results are ideal and the downtime is minimal.
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Fillers can be used to lift and contour the lower face, but the degree of improvement depends on the severity of the sagging and the amount of filler used. Fillers such as hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite can be injected into the cheeks and jawline to add volume and definition, which can help to lift the skin in the lower face. However, fillers may not be able to provide the same level of lift and longevity as a surgical facelift. A facelift can provide more significant and longer-lasting results by repositioning the deeper structures of the face and removing excess skin.Ultimately, the best option for you depends on your individual concerns and desired outcomes. It's recommended that you consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and determine the best course of action for you.
Dear patientI would recommend you look into Ylift which is a special technic of placing the Hyaluronic filler in different parts of the face to get the maximum lift without showing you have had a procedure done.good luck and best of health
In our practice, we perform a non-surgical face lift / skin resurfacing treatment using Renuvion Helium Plasma Radiofrequency. To get the most improvement with skin tightening, we combine Renuvion (formerly J-Plasma) with lasers (Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, CO2), microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy and InMode FaceTite. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question regarding your lower face and possible treatment options. I would suggest Morpheus 8 treatments to tighten and lift the skin in the lower face. I would suggest 3 treatments, about 1 month apart. Morpheus 8 uses microneedling plus radiofrequency to tighten, lift, and rejuvenate the skin. I think you would get great results with this treatment! Morpheus 8 is relatively safe, low risk, and has minimal downtime. I hope this helps!
Based on the views in the pictures here, you do look like a candidate for a facelift with fat grafting. That being said, for patients who do not want a facelift, radiofrequency skin tightening, facial fat grafting or fillers, and other less invasive procedures can work together to get a great result, in some cases approximating a facelift result, with less risk and downtime, and sometimes under just local anesthesia.

Take a breath. The photos provided suggest little more than time-related volume loss, particularly in the mid-cheek region that is more prominent in an otherwise thin, normal weight individual. A robust filler, such as Voluma XC, placed appropriately in the cheeks would likely immediately remedy the mid-cheek hollowing and would likely secondarily improve to some degree the drooping at the corners of the mouth. If necessary, Restylane Lyft, can be injected around the angles of the mouth to further lift and straighten the corners. It can be used, as well, to elevate the cleft below the lower lip and diminish the shadowing there and add a very youthful, sensual pout to the center of the lower lip. Finally, if necessary (difficult to say from the photos), additional filler can be used to straighten and define the jawline. I stopped using threads years ago; they are associated with many adverse reactions, are difficult to remove once placed, and at best only pull the skin (which can cause an unnatural skeletal look, particularly in thin women). Likewise, I gave up fat injections. They have the allure of being natural and permanent, but the reality can be quite different. Besides requiring a two-step minimally invasive procedure to remove the fat from the belly, hips, or thighs and then transfer to the face with larger bore cannulas, once separated from its original blood supply, much of the injected fat does not survive and so the promise of "permanent" is seldom realized. Furthermore, fat taken from the belly, for example, retains the characteristics of the region from which it is withdrawn--meaning that when the belly develops a midriff bulge, the fat in the face can do so, as well. In experiencjed hands, all of the above filler treatments can be completed in about a half hour with results that typically engender an immediate "Wow!" reaction. So, don't fret and make sure to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and ask to see his/her personal before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.
Thank you for your question. Fillers add volume and soften lines, which can make the lower face more even, giving the illusion of a more youthful appearance. However, one is limited by the volume, as at some point additional filler starts to look unnatural. There are also a variety of minimally invasive options for skin tightening, and some patients prefer these options. Unfortunately the only thing that can lift the face, putting the soft tissues back into place, is a facelift. I would avoid threads, as I haven't seen evidence that they actually work.
Hello, based on what I see in your photos, it seems that the contour of your jawline has started to change, and this is causing considerable discomfort for you. We often observe this in our patients around the age of 40. Increased elasticity loss around 40 often leads to the beginning of changes...
