Hello,Thank you for your question. Once you have completely healed, your buttocks should feel soft. Normal swelling in the first few months will make the tissue feel slightly firm. Talk to your plastic surgeon about the expected timeline for recovery. All the best
Thank you for your question. After a BBL your butt feels hard for the first couple of months. There is a process of swelling and bruising that undergoes the first stage of major resolution in the first 2 weeks after surgery. The later phase of healing takes place over the 2-3 months after surgery where everything really settles and softens.
After a BBL the buttock is initially hard due to the amount of fat put into the buttocks and the amount of swelling after the procedure. Once fully healed (several weeks), the buttock should be soft in most cases. As always, ensure you consult with an ASPS surgeon experienced in BBL's. I wish you the best of luck!
Thanks for your question. It all depends on how much fat was grafted or placed in the buttocks. If a significant amount of fat was placed, it's going to feel firm initially and it can take 3 to 4 weeks to soften. Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.Take care,Moises Salama M.D., Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Often the buttock can feel quite firm from swelling initially. As you heal the swelling will subside and the buttock should feel more normal.

Every plastic surgeon will have their own recipe for how to best recover. We simply want you to avoid direct pressure for 6 weeks. We have never required much in terms of a "recovery suite" but 48 hours would be great and anything beyond a week is luxury. Best Wishes!!
Dear breemixx27,birth control pills increase risk of blood clots so most plastic surgeons recommend their patients to stop using them prior to surgery. But every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your ...
