Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photograph. It appears that you might have had a little too much filler injected or injected to superficially. Massaging and cold compresses might improve the problem; however, you may require injection of Vitrase to dissolve the Restylane. Visit your doctor again if you do not see improvement.Good luck,

The blue bumps can be from some of the filler being placed to superficially or migrating closer to the surface. Often massaging can help. You can also get hyaluronidase injected to dissolve away the blue areas which is also called the tyndal effect.

Hi mercedz30, I would recommend going back in to the office to see your provider, especially since the bumps are tender. Your provider can then help you differentiate between blisters and filler bumps. Depending on which they are, your provider can either dissolve the bumps or prescribe an antiviral. 

This may be superficially placed filler, but if you think it's blisters, I recommend following up with your injector. This can be treated with anti-viral medication. If it's filler, it can be reversed with hyaluronidase. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Those bumps are probably the Restylane product. Certainly, the blue hue you're seeing would suggest these are caused by the products. You need to see your injector. You may have to have these dissolved. Nest time, consider Refyne - this product does not lump. Good luck, Dr. ALDO 

Bumps and swelling can be typical following lip fillers. It can take 1-2 weeks for final results. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.

I agree that the blue bumps are likely the dermal filler gel and can be massaged. If they persist after massages, you may dissolve them with hyaluronidase. 

Most likely this is the filller that was not injected smoothly and the blue color is the Tyndall effect of scattering the light.
