I had restylane injected in both upper and lower lips last week. The staff at drs office said to massage these bumps. I'm noticing a blue hue in them now. They almost look like blisters. They are sore to the touch too.

Your provider can then help you differentiate between blisters and filler bumps. Depending on which they are, your provider can either dissolve the bumps or prescribe an antiviral.

Answer: Lumps after Lip augmentation with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella) This may be superficially placed filler, but if you think it's blisters, I recommend following up with your injector. This can be treated with anti-viral medication. If it's filler, it can be reversed with hyaluronidase. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
