Hi there! Kybella is used to dissolve small pockets of fat and would not be beneficial for you as it looks as though the issue is skin elasticity. This may actually cause more skin laxity. Fillers to strengthen the chin and jawline may improve the appearance slightly but you want to be careful not to overdo fillers and look unnatural. In your case, a natural, subtle facelift to lift, reposition and remove the excess skin would be very beneficial. Hope this helps!
Thank you for submitting your question and including photos. You would be a great candidate for submental liposuction. Unfortunately that fullness is usually genetic but can be decreased with liposuction and morpheus8 treatments to help tighten the skin. I recommend scheduling a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon like myself so we can create a surgical plan based on your goals.
You could defintely benefit from a facelift/necklift but you look young, so you may want to consider something less invasive to start. Microneedling with RF works well and usually takes 3 sessions. Kybella can help with any excess fat but does not tighten the skin. The best option would be AirSculpt for fat removal and then Renuvion for skin tightening, which is all done in one session that takes about an hour. Hope that helps!
Kybella will be of no use in your situation. You deep tissues show laxity not fat excess. Dissolving fat or removing fat would make your conditition worse.I don't have a frontal view of your face, but I believe a regional facelift would be something to consider.Hope this helps
It appears you have lack of elasticity of the chin and neck. A necklift would remove the excess skin giving you a more defined jaw line and chin. A in person consultation would decide if this is the best procedure or possibly lipo suction if there is fat in that area upon examination,
Based on the amount of excess submental (chin) fat and extra skin, I think you would have some success with less invasive modalities. Submental liposuction with some sort of skin tightening element (SMARTLipo, VASER, Facetite, etc) would likely give you a good improvement based on the severity of the problem and your age.
I would recommend a facelift or neck lift since the issue is mostly excess skin. Kybella will not help in this situation since it is used to dissolve fat.
Thank you for your question and for sharing your concerns regarding the appearance of your jawline, particularly in neck flexion. Based on the examination, there is some fullness under the chin even in a neutral position, which suggests a small amount of excess fatty tissue.Recommendation:For addressing the issues you are noticing and achieving significant improvement in the jawline and neck contours both at rest and in neck flexion, a deep plane neck lift intervention would be a suitable option. Why a Deep Plane Neck Lift: 1. Comprehensive Improvement: A deep plane neck lift can effectively control the fullness under the chin and provide a more defined jawline. This procedure targets the deeper layers of tissue and muscle, which allows for a more significant and long-lasting result. 2. Enhanced Contours: Compared to a facelift, a deep plane neck lift focuses more on the neck and jawline, making it particularly effective for addressing the contours and fullness in these areas. This approach ensures that the jawline and neck look improved not only at rest but also during neck flexion. 3. Targeted Treatment: The deep plane neck lift not only removes excess fatty tissue but also reduces the excess volume coming from the digastric muscles and the submandibular glands. This is not specifically addressed by a facelift intervention and significantly affects the contour of the neck, both at rest and in neck flexion. By targeting these areas, the deep plane neck lift provides a more comprehensive improvement in the overall neck and jawline appearance. Conclusion:In summary, a deep plane neck lift is likely to provide the significant improvements you are seeking for your jawline and neck contours. It addresses the specific concerns you have in both neutral and flexed positions more effectively than a traditional facelift.
You may consider a Facelift in the far future but there are excellent non-surgical options available to address lax skin of the jawline and neck that offer rapid recovery, minimal downtime and no open visible large scars. A combination of procedures will afford you the optimal rejuvenation. Patients with moderate skin laxity of the lower face and neck are ideal candidates for the Endolift Laser which is FDA approved and used throughout Europe. The Endolift Laser targets pockets of fat in the jowl, face and neck. It stimulates collagen so the skin looks significantly better and tighter. The benefits are that the Endolift Laser is placed through tiny pin holes so there are no scars and the healing is rapid. This is an outpatient procedure with minimal discomfort during or after the procedure. The Endolift Laser is amazing in the hands of well trained individuals who understand how to avoid complications and know the optimal manner in which to target lax tissues. When used in combination with PDO Threads and possibility facial fillers, the results are ideal and the downtime is minimal. You may also benefit from selective facial fillers: Radiesse, RHA or Restylane to contour your jawline and cheeks. This will support lax skin and muscle of the lower face. The combination of the Endolift Laser, PDO Thread Lift and selective Facial Fillers is the choice for patients who wish rapid recovery, have moderate laxity of facial and neck skin and wish a natural and rejuvenated appearance. Botox will not assist sagging skin but when appropriate can diminish prominent neck bands or muscles.Seeking a consultation with a well qualified individual is the first step.
Dear Inventive,Your solution really depends on your physical examination. With your neck flexed, there's not any operation that will help those wrinkles opinion that occur when you naturally bend your neck. At a resting straightforward, you do have a little fullness in your neck area below your jawline that certainly can be improved. Improvement depends on if that area is or has excess skin and fat OR just excess skin. If it is excess skin and fat, treatments like Kybella can help but I'm not impressed, but treatment with liposuction and Facetite could definitely improve that issue. If this area is just skin only then an isolated necklift could be a solution for you. It is imperative that you see several board certified plastic or facial plastic surgeons to get the best opinion based on a in office physical exam.Best wishes!Earl Stephenson, Jr., MD, DDS, MBA, ESJ Aesthetics,#TruthAndTransformation
"I generally prefer to conduct a physical examination first, but from what I can gather from your photos, there appears to be some looseness in your face either due to facial expressions or genetics. This causes a wrinkled appearance when you smile. A lower facelift or mini facelift can help...
Well, I understand what you mean, but I would not call it sagging. Not yet. Pictures are nice, but let us see your face muscles functioning and the tension of the skin during a consultation in the office. Maybe there are some other procedures smaller then a full face lifting more proper at he...
Facial movement after a face will not have an effect on your facelift results. Depending on your age and physical exam the some neck laxity can return in a very limited way over time.
