Aye recently had gyno surgery. My surgeon said don't smoke for at least 3 days. However I get diffrent answers on the Internet. I've just had half a cigarette because I'm really struggling to stop. How will this affect me? And will smoking affect my finished results? Aye got my surgery Monday. He told me it shouldn't affect me 3 days after surgery. Please help its so hard. Photos will follow

Thank you for your question. You were wise to be cautious. I typically recommend that my patients avoid sun exposure on their scars for the first year after surgery. I would recommend wearing a UV protective shirt. Apply sunscreen to your scars and then wear your shirt over the top....
