Only my right nipple responds to cold and goes hard now? My left one doesn't. 9 days post op gyno surgery.

You are still very early in the healing process. Be patient. It is normal for there to be some differences between the two sides early on. Give it three months.

There are many complications of gynaecomastia surgery.
The loss of sensation and erectile function of the nipple areolar complex is not uncommon, especially if you have had an open resection of the glandular tissue.  Chances are, the nerve supplying the nipple-areolar complex, as well as the contractile muscle under the nipple areolar complex may have been damaged.  This may be permanent but you will only really know by 3 months if it does not recover.    Time will tell.  At this stage, all you can do is wait and see.   Hopefully, your breast tissue has been adequately removed and the appearance following your surgery has started to improve.
