Would I benefit from lipo with jplasma and abdominal etching or should I consider other options due to skin laxity? (photos)

Hello I was wondering if I would be a good candidate for lipo360/jplasma / ab-etching, or would I have loose skin due to stomach laxity? I want really good results, and a tight looking stomach. Going by my photos, do you think I would have good results to lipo360 with jplasma and etching

Thank you for your question regarding what to do with your abdomen and would you benefit from lipo with Jplasma and  abdominal etching. Thank you also for including your pictures. First, let’s analyze your pictures to determine your optimal surgery. Basically, when a plastic surgeon analyzes the abdomen, there can be three areas of anatomic concern: muscle weakness, excess fat, and excess skin.  In regards to skin, you don’t have much skin laxity. In regards to fat, you have a mild to moderate amount of fat, but not extreme. In regards to muscle, you have significant muscle weakness   What strikes me as your biggest issue is muscle weakness. Your muscle weakness is more important than excess fat or skin laxity.     This can be seen on the profile pictures of your abdominal wall. Your muscle weakness can be seen in the second and third picture you provided. Since muscle weakness is the main issue, I would suggest muscle tightening. Muscle tightening can be achieved through an incision low in the pubic region. Tissue dissection is done to the sternum, the rectus abdominis muscle is exposed and tightened. In my opinion this would give you the best and flattest abdomen.  If you do not tighten the rectus muscle and just had Jplasma or abdominal edging, you will have muscle definition, but the abdominal wall will still be distended due to the muscle weakness. In my opinion, you must fix the muscle weakness first.  If you have any more questions regarding the tummy tuck or abdominoplasty, please contact my office.  Since an abdominoplasty can be a difficult procedure, please seek an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon with significant experience performing tummy tucks.   Do your research.  Make sure your chosen plastic surgeon has performed at least 100 abdominoplasties.  Make sure they have the before and after pictures to prove it. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. Helps reduce appearance of Cellulite by helping aid the production of collagen and tightening the skin. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Hello, in your case it must be determined if the abdominal muscles are separated, this can happen after pregnancies, or after losing a lot of weight, in that case they must be repaired, it must also be determined if there is a lot of extra skin in the anterior part of the abdomen, or if it is more fat, there can be several options, but you are a case which is important to evaluate in consultation to be able to decide what would be ideal.

Hi There! The main problem I see in your abdomen is that you have a humbilac hernia, that is due to a weakness in the abdominal wall, which must be repaired for you to have a good result, I do not recommend liposuction with abdominal etching in your particular case

You do not appear to need a tummy tuck.   It looks like you have a Diastasis of your rectus muscles which makes your abdomen more prominent.  But, if you do not have a problem regarding this, I would just do the lipo 360, Morpheus & BodyTite as well as Abdominal Etching.   Not a fan of J-Plasma.  If the diastasis and abdominal fullness bothers you, then you will need a Tummy Tuck to repair your muscles, followed later by Abdominal Etching
