I’m wondering if abdominal etching is something you can perform on post menopausal women. I’m 54, 130lbs, 5’5”. I had always had a flat stomach and ab definition until I went through menopause at 51. I know I won’t look 25 again, but what could I typically expect-or do you even do this on someone my age? Thanks
Answer: VASER six-pack abdominal etching post menopausal woman ab etching 6-pack VASER abs ab etching expert flat abdomen VASER 6 pack Hi Mimi1062. Thank you for asking whether abdominal etching can be performed on post-menopausal women. Thank you for your short history. A physical examination is an order before your specific question can be answered about you. However, in general, if you do not have loose abdominal skin and are without abdominal stretch marks, you may be a good candidate, for VASER high-definition six-pack abs etching. Your age and post-menopausal status do not significantly prohibit you from undergoing VASER high-definition six-pack abs etching. The VASER high-definition six-pack abs etching may be an ideal surgery if your abdominal skin is not sagging or lacks good recoil ability. During VASER high-definition six-pack abs etching, the six-pack abs are sculpted from the underlying abdominal wall. The benefit of the VASER is that it helps to melt fat, sculpt the underlying rectus abdominis muscles, and help tighten the overlying skin. The VASER high-definition six-pack abs etching procedure is performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately three hours to complete. Drains may or may not be needed. Plan on a two-week recovery. Thank you for your question regarding VASER high-definition six-pack abs etching on a post-menopausal female. I hope I answered your questions.

Answer: Abdominal etching Yes, abdominal etching can be performed on post-menopausal women, and the eligibility for the procedure is typically determined based on individual health factors rather than age alone. Abdominal etching is a form of liposuction designed to enhance the appearance of the abdominal muscles by selectively removing excess fat. Here are some considerations regarding abdominal etching in post-menopausal women: Overall Health: Assessment: The decision to undergo abdominal etching, or any cosmetic procedure, is often based on an individual's overall health rather than a specific age range. Medical Evaluation: Post-menopausal women interested in abdominal etching will undergo a medical evaluation to assess their health status, any existing medical conditions, and factors that may affect the safety and success of the procedure. Realistic Expectations: Consultation: During a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon, realistic expectations are discussed, and the surgeon provides information about what can be achieved through abdominal etching. Communication: Clear communication between the patient and the surgeon is crucial to ensure a shared understanding of the goals and potential outcomes of the procedure. Body Composition: Assessment of Fat Distribution: The effectiveness of abdominal etching depends on the distribution of fat in the abdominal area. The surgeon will assess whether the patient has localized fat deposits that can be targeted for removal. Customization: Tailored Approach: Abdominal etching is a customizable procedure, and the surgeon can tailor the approach to the individual's anatomy and aesthetic goals. Post-Operative Care: Recovery: Post-menopausal women undergoing abdominal etching will follow post-operative care instructions provided by the surgeon. This may include wearing compression garments, avoiding strenuous activities during the initial recovery period, and attending follow-up appointments. It's important for individuals considering abdominal etching to choose a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon. The surgeon will conduct a thorough evaluation, discuss the patient's medical history, and provide personalized recommendations based on their unique circumstances. As with any surgical procedure, there are potential risks and benefits, and each patient's case is unique. If you are considering abdominal etching or any cosmetic procedure, schedule a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your goals, undergo a thorough evaluation, and receive guidance on the most appropriate approach for achieving your desired results.

Answer: Abdominal Etching and Age The short answer is- age is just a number. I've done abdominal etching on patients in their late 60s (whom were more fit than some of my patients in their early 30s). The best way to accurately answer your question if via consultation (or to review pictures). The procedure you'll likely require is an abdominal etching via VASER assisted liposculpting of the abdomen and flanks with Renuvion J plasma vs BodyTite skin tightening. This will bring your underlying abdominal muscles to life and show case your inscriptions (four/six pack muscles) and your vertical lines (linea alba and semilunaris lines). The determining factor is the quality of your skin- laxity vs redundancy, and the possible presence of a diastasis recti or midline muscle weakness. Best, Dr Satey, Beverly Hills, Ca.

Answer: Age restriction for abdominal etching? No, as long as they have good skin quality and little visceral fat Thank you for your question. Age is not a factor in being a candidate for abdominal etching. As long as you have good skin quality and are near your ideal body weight, you would be a great candidate. Scheduling a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine your candidacy based on skin laxity, and medical conditions (if any).

Answer: Abdominal Etching at any age! Thanks for your question! Without knowing the rest of your vitals, past medical history and at least photos of your abdomen, it is difficult to answer with complete certainty. With that said, if you have few medical problems, the yes, post-menopausal women can also get liposuction with abdominal etching! You may even look better than you did before surgery. Be sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.
