Is there a way to bring the nostrils close together? (Photo)

Hi, so i have a very wide nose and after revision rhinplasty was done to reduce the bridge, the base of my nose is still very wide giving me a very large ball like looking tip. I asked my doctor about it, but it says its impossible, because my problem is excess skin, Is it true? Is there anyway to make under the nose tip smaller and slimmer

Thank you for the picture and your question. Yes, the nostril shape can be changed through manipulation of the tip cartilages. In a revision case, this is more complex due to scar tissue, etc. it is important to note that all parts of the tip are related--changing one thing changes other things. Please check in with your surgeon or seek a second opinion with a board-certified rhinoplasty specialist. Best of luck!

You need to be seen in person to evaluate your nasal tip. It may be possible with a sinching suture. But I would need to see you before letting you know if it is possible.

Based upon your photos, you appear to be a candidate for Rhinoplasty with Nasal Tip Surgery to refine your nasal tip.  Reducing a thick tip with thick skin requires defatting excess fibrofatty tissue inside the tip, and supporting the tip structures.  I would recommend you consult with at least 2 board certified facial plastic surgeons who are experienced in facial cosmetic surgery, specifically revision rhinoplasty and correction of bulbous nasal tips.  I would recommend you have digital computer imaging performed during your consultation so that you can see how your nose would appear following surgery.  This also ensures that you and your surgeon are in agreement as to the desired result.
