Flat lips, undefined. What are my options? (Photo)

I would recommend conservative lip augmentation with Hyaluronic Acid, like Juvederm Ultra plus to see if you like the look. Another option is fat transfer which is more permanent. It is done under local anesthesia and fat is usually taken from the lower abdomen or thighs. Studies show that at least 1/3 of transferred fat last forever. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon in your area, Good Luck!

You should start out with 1cc of juvederm filler or restylane filler and go from there. You do not want to overdo too much filler in the lips. It also depends on the look you are going for too. You can always add more filler to the lips if needed. Just remember if you are going to do your lips and you do not want to bruise you should not take any aspirins or anything that will thin the blood since brusing can occur. Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  The best option at a lip augmentation is careful placement of a hyaluronic acid such as Juvederm Ultra Plus or Vollure.  These can add fullness and definition to the lip but still leave a natural result.  Be sure to see an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon for treatment.

You appear to be an excellent candidate for an lip filler, such as Juvederm or Volbella. I particularly like Volbella because of the consistency and decreased swelling compared to other fillers. It is important that you go to an experienced and qualified injector, such as a board certified Plastic Surgeon. It is important that he or she understands your treatment goals and expectations. There are other, more permanent surgical techniques with dermal-fat grafts that I used for lip augmentation, but I think filler would be ideal for the situation you are describing. Hope this helps.

Fillers in the lips are a reasonable thing to do to augment the vermilion and to plump the lips a bit. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing your question. Start with fillers. 1/2 a syringe will give you that little bit of fullness you are looking to achieve. If ever you decide you want more fullness, the other half can be injected 1 - 2 weeks later an d up to even 3 months later should you wish. Always see a board certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck!
