Hi! Thanks for your question and photos. I typically recommend for patients to wait a full year before deciding on whether a revision is needed so that the nose can fully heal. I suggest following up with your surgeon regarding your concerns and seeing them for an in person follow up. Best of luck!
I would talk to your surgeon. It is possible you always had this asymmetry and it was just never noticed before; your surgeon should have your preop photos so you can look at this. Also they would be able to tell you what/if anything was done to either worsen or create this appearance. I doubt this is related to swelling. Again, I would check w your surgeon.
If you have excessive nostril show on front view when you look in the mirror, depending on your examination, microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections maybe considered for nostril lowering and permanently improving nostril symmetry. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
It is a very challenging situation to correct the asymmetry of the nostrils. In your case the left one is more round than the right one. If the roundness can be decreased then both might match to some degree. However, there is no perfect solution. Once you have your nostrils operated on you can never get the original nostrils back. Greetings from Istanbul! Your goals are indeed realistic and align well with the objectives of ethnic rhinoplasty. The focus in such procedures is typically on refining the tip, narrowing the nostrils, and enhancing the bridge. The goal is never to westernize the nose, but to create a...
Surgeons should always work with patients to give them the best outcome, which means providing services based on what the client wants. If you speak with a surgeon who is unwilling to do so or make any compromises, I would look elsewhere. If you are able to find a surgeon you are comfortable...
