After Tip-plasty the scar tissue can feel hard. It is difficult to tell initially as the edema can hide a cartilaginous bossa. It can take up to a year for all the swelling to resolve before you see a cartilage poking. If you feel a bump but don't see it then leave it alone. Regards Dr. Janjua
