Robotic surgery before Lipo 360/BBL?

Question

I was diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis. I recently had robotic surgery March 2,2023. My OBGYN removed two endometriosis cyst and my right fallopian tube because it was damaged. I’m scheduled for lipo 360/BBL October 24,2023. My OBGYN said I can definitely still get the cosmetic procedure because it takes a month to heal. I just want a second opinion, should I push back the date ? I had 5 incisions one on my belly button , and 2 on each side of belly

Is important to follow recommendations of the doctor performing the intervention, which may vary depending on the technique used to perform the process. This is a great question. Giving enough time between surgery is a good idea to let your body heal and recuperate after surgery. Assuming you are in good health and have no complications from your robotic surgery, you can still safely proceed with the cosmetic procedure. You should discuss the surgeries with both your OBGYN and your plastic surgeon to make sure there are no contra-indications or any reason why you should wait.

there would be over 7 months between your procedures so you should be fine. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

You should review this with your plastic surgeon. He or she is the one ultimately responsible for doing the BBL procedure. Each provider will have their own view on the appropriateness of doing a BBL after a previous laparoscopic surgery. Those on the conservative side will ask patients to wait six months or longer. 
I suggest you contact your plastic surgeon and let them know current changes in your medical history.
