I'm a 27 year old female. My whole face is very asymmetrical, but my nose contributes most to it. It seems to be deviated, but what bothers me even more is the uneven cartilage on the tip, which makes my nose from the three quarter profile look way pointer and sharper than the left one. It looks like two different noses. Is it possible to even out the cartilage and make my nose (more) symmetrical? What procedure would best suit me? Thank you.

If the appearance of your nose concerns you enough to do something about it, it can be improved with a natural artistically performed rhinoplasty. What would be the best option and exact procedure would depend on an examination and discussion about desired outcome. Excellent results can be achieved with either a closed or open technique.

A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport.
