Two weeks after Botox, lines and wrinkles are back. Advice?

It is hard to evaluate your result without photos. It sounds like the areas at the glabella where you were injected were treated. Sometimes, especially after a first treatment there are some areas to touch up that need to be addressed. You may need a higher dosing depending on your wrinkles. Whether or not the treatment is "free" depends on what expectations were set at your initial consultation. Did your doctor talk about the need for touch ups, or did he/she say you would be fully treated after one treatment? It is most likely the former. I hope this helps.

This is difficult to answer without before and after pictures. Deeper lines need a combination approach with Botox, fillers and lasers with microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Every one has facial asymmetry which is normal and most people notice the asymmetry of the face after cosmetic procedures such as botox or fillers. In my opinion you should see your before and after photos with your physician and he can re-evaluate your facial muscle strength and help you with it.

After two weeks the full effect of Botox is done and I would return to your treating physician to correct any facial asymmetry.  I always bring my Botox patients back to the office in two weeks to assess their results and provide a touch-up if necessary.  Please consult an expert in Botox injections for the best cosmetic results. Thank you for your question.  I'm sorry to hear that you aren't pleased with the results of your Botox treatment.  It's difficult to make exact recommendations without assessing you in-person, or at least reviewing your before and after photos.  I think at this point, it would be best to follow-up with your doctor to discuss your concerns - sometimes, small touch-up treatments are needed to correct asymmetry or residual lines.  Many doctors, myself included, offer these touch-ups complimentary when needed.  I hope this helps!

Honestly, this is a hard question to answer without evaluating you in person or reviewing a set of before/after photos. I think the best thing to do is followup with your physician to discuss your results and concerns. Both Botox and Voluma are superb products with a proven track record and so you should certainly expect better results then you have described. Botox takes a full two weeks to fully bind. If you are 14 days or more past your injection day then you should return to your doctor for evaluation. During the two weeks after injection Botox is gradually binding to its receptors. To avoid any asymmetry be sure your receiving your injections from a board certified core physician such as a Dermatologist, plastic surgeon or opthalmologist. These physicians have had years of training with Botox and didn't just go to a weekend course to learn it. 

Sometimes it takes a while for all the results to be noticed but 2 weeks is usually sufficient. You may need a little touch up to even things out but be sure you are seeing a board certified dermatologist

Each side of the face is a bit different and commonly one side is stronger than the other. Sometimes a little tweak is needed to adjust the two sides.

If if you paid $1,600 for voluma and Botox, then you obviously went to a deeply discounted place and I would question the validity of your treatment. If on the other hand you paid $1,600 for the botox alone then you are probably paid more than above your average price and you did not get your money's worth. I would most definitely contact your treating physician and have them review your case and administer a free treatment otherwise seek a better professional. Good luck from New York City
