Uneven bone shapes after rhinoplasty (Photo)

I get this question every day and yet I always tell my patients the same thing that we discussed in depth preop – it takes time and at least one year to see the final results.  If you have thick skin, are a male, or ethnic patient or a revision rhinoplasty patient - it may take up to two years in some cases. Be patient and as I always tell my patients – I can only promise that I will leave the OR and be done with your rhinoplasty when it looks as great or best as it can and then it is up to GOD and wound healing.

The major key to success in rhinoplasty is to consult with and have a true expert in rhinoplasty that is board certified in plastic surgery or ENT and has expertise and significant experience in nasal  surgery.

Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity.
In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months.
To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.
