Rhinoplasty techniques; What are all those wires that are there during the surgery coming out of the nose?

Thanks for your question. Im not exactly sure what you are referring to. Occasionally after rhinoplasty, some surgeons will place packing in the nose to prevent bleeding. These are large pieces of gauze that hold pressure within the nose. These are attached to strings (suture) that are used to make sure they stay in place and make it easier to remove. Most surgeons do not pack unless necessary. I hope this helps!
