Is it ok to have Restylane or Juvederm while on penicillin?

Penicillin is not known to interfere or react with injectable fillers like Restylane or Juvéderm. There is no issue with concurrently being on penicillin or other antibiotics and getting filler injections with a hyaluronic acid based filler like restylane or juvederm. 

It should be safe to have hyaluronic acid filler injections while on antibiotics such as penicillin, as there is no contraindication.  However, if you are having a viral infectionwith ulcers or blisters near the lips, mouth or nose, then that should be treated and resolvedprior to any HA filler injection to the area. best of luck to you.

There should be no problem treating with hyaluronic acid fillers while on Penicillin. As long as there is no active infection it should be perfectly safe.  However, I recommend to consult with your doctor before treating with Juvederm or Restylane. 

Taking Penicillin or any other antibiotic should not have any effect on your hyaluronic acid fillers. However, if you have any type of active infection I would definitely recommend that you hold off on fillers until the infection is completely resolved.  Best, Dr. Green

In general it's safe to have a filler injected while on antibiotics, unless the patient is on antibiotics for an actual infection. Best to ask your doctor regarding your individual case however.
