Can tear trough injections “settle” or migrate to upper cheekbone?

Make sure your doctor is an experienced Oculoplastic Surgeon when using fillers in this area. Many serious issues have been referred to me. Thank you for your question.  The tear trough area is an extremely delicate area to treat.  It is very important that all aftercare instructions are followed and that proper technique is used when injecting.  
It certainly could be possible that the filler has migrated from the tear trough to the cheek.  However, it is not easy to determine without photos or an in person consultation.  I would encourage you to follow up with your physician or another experienced injector. That way the cause can be determined and the best plan of action. Best of luck!
