Am I experiencing Tyndall effect from under eye fillers? (Photos)

Hi @joy1992. Most facial filler products that are injected into this area should ideally be placed in the tissue plane directly on top of the bone, or at least underneath the eyelid muscle layer. If a facial filler product is placed too superficial in the skin, or on top of the muscle layer, the product may settle in with an abnormal appearance and can look to be lumpy, swollen, or irregular. The filler products that are preferred to treat this area will have some degree of affinity for water molecules so all of these products will exhibit some degree of hydration and swell once injected into the body. Hyaluronic acid facial filler products that were previously injected into an improper tissue plane can be dissolved by hyaluronidase injections. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Hello and thank you for your question.  I agree with the others that it is hard to say for sure without an in-person examination.  However, if you had significant bruising after the last treatment, hemosiderin staining may be the cause of the pigmentation.  Lasers such as V-Beam can sometimes help with these issues. I suggest looking into a reputable office near you that can evaluate you and suggest the proper care.  Best of luck!

The problem could be filler edema and/or underlying hidden eye fat bags. Examination is required. Options may include observation, removing filler, and/or lower blepharoplasty.

I'm sorry you are unhappy with your filler result. This may be due to placement. If you're unhappy, I recommend following up with your injector. The filler can be reversed with hyaluronidase. Hope this helps.

ONLY in person examination allows a determination if you need HA dissolve like hyaluronidase injected. Fee in the $500 ranges per session. Seek some in person opinions. 

doesn't look like tyndall to me. I think it's just the border of lid and cheek skin, though the pictures aren't so good. You need an in person evaluation. People with your lower lid and cheek configuration are hard to improve with filer IMO because there is a very large area to fill,  there's not a lot of indentation and you have very white and thin skin.  The problem is more color than indentation
