I had a liposuction of my back and the bra area and he took The fat and did a butt lift. My buttocks looks the same. But worse, my liposuction of the flanks look worse, it looks like cellulite. When I do side flank stomach crunches, or contract, it is very prominent. When I went back to the surgeon, he said I needed a tummy tuck but he did not address the skin issue.
Answer: Liposuction results Dear mia418, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Lipo appearance after Fat Transfer to Buttocks Hello! Management depends on how long ago your surgery was performed and what your body looked like prior to surgery. Your plastic surgeon should provide guidance about management of liposuction and fat transfer within the first year. If this person is not available to you, you should see a board certified plastic surgeon who can help guide you on management. The photos are not entirely clear. You should bring your preoperative photos to the surgeon you see, if you are not seeing your surgeon from the BBL. General options include further lipo contouring or a tummy tuck to tighten your skin. Best of luck to you!

Answer: Wrinkling from liposuction This is a very good example of why performing liposuction alone given the indication for abdominoplasty is problematic. There is a trend of giving the patient what she thinks she wants rather than offering the appropriate operation. It’s the surgeon’s responsibility to discuss the potential outcome because it’s something he can anticipate.

Answer: Lumpy skin Based on your photos, you need a skin resection procedure that includes a TT. You would likely benefit from a high definition tummy tuck using high definition VASER liposuction. The tummy tuck procedure would comprehensively remove excess skin and fat in the abdominal region. The abdominal muscle would also be 'tightened' to create the appearance of a flatter stomach. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a tummy tuck specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS
