Hello, I had abdominal tumescent liposuction two years ago. I have these hard little lumps deep under the skin that I can see when I trench it downward. I’d like to know what is the best treatment to break those lumps down? They don’t hurt they just make me feel insecure because it looks like cellulite. I’ve been recommended PDO threads, revision lipo, and also Morpheus 8. Is there something I can do to improve this?
Answer: Lumps Bumps This is a challenging problem to fix. This is due to excessive liposuction of the superficial fat and/or deep fat with tethered scarring of the area to the underlying muscular fascia. The solution is complex including repeat liposuctioning with or without fat grafting depending on physical exam. Best of luck. I would recommend seeing a board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeon to ensure that you are properly evaluated and that the correct safe surgical recommendations can be discussed and/or made.
