While everyone is different when it comes to healing after Lipusciotn, the average total healing time as well as final outcome can be up to 6 months.  be patient woht your process. 

It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. Your swelling can last for 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Thank you for your question. Healing after liposuction is usually pretty straight forward.  There is a process of swelling and bruising that peaks at 3 days after surgery and then undergoes the first stage of major resolution in the first 2 weeks after surgery.  The later phase of healing takes place over the 2-3 months after surgery where everything really settles and softens.  It is after this time that we are getting close to the final result, though this varies patient to patient. 

sammiester.   After three weeks it is probably swelling that is worrying you, and that should resolve with time. It can take as long as 4 to 6 months for all swelling to resolve. Follow up with your plastic surgeon and try to stay patient. Good luck.

It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! Three weeks is too short of a time to assess your liposuction final outcome. Swelling is a common temporary side effects after liposuction. You will see significant improvement in the way your body feels and looks in the following 6-8 weeks, and liposuction maximum results will take up to 6 months to show. I would recommend wearing specialized compression garments properly for 6 months and getting a minimum of ten lymphatic drainage massage sessions in order to completely alleviate the swelling and discomfort, and also prevent complications such as seromas (fluid collection) and contour irregularities (indentations, and/or fibrosis). In my experience, manual lymphatic massages by their own have proven successful, in the majority of cases, in achieving uniform removal of swelling and ensuring smooth contours. Your result looks typical for a revision Lipo case.  It will take some time for all the swelling to improve especially in someone who has had previous surgery. Use some compression garments and allow a few more months 

It usually takes around 6 months for the body to fully heal. Swelling subsides by this time. However, each individual has a different healing rate and some may have delayed healing and some don't.

Thank you for your question. Swelling after TT can lasts up to many weeks to 4-6 months occasionally. Please continue to follow instructions from and follow up with your PS and re evaluate in 3 months.
