Red blotches on outer thighs after lipo what can it be? (photo)

Ps suggested to put cortizone on it twice daily but there hasn’t been any difference im 2 months post op and I started with this redness about 2 weeks ago its hot to touch and very itchy.

This is something you should discuss with your surgeon. For my patients, I want them to wear their compression garment for 4 to 6 weeks depending on how they are healing, it is to control swelling and promote skin contraction. Good luck.

It is normal to have swelling and firmness after liposuction.  The two reasons for concern would be seroma or infection.  If your surgeon thinks that it is just edema, then a deep tissue massage would help with recovery.
