I'm a singer and just had a neck lift revision on May 16, 4 days post op. How long after revision can I perform? (photos)

That is a great question.
I would say the photos you uploaded on demonstrate you are healing quickly and you should be okay to perform in mid June. I would premise this with the type of neck lift revision you had. If you had a full neck lift with muscle and gland work I would not allow you to sing for 8-9 weeks.

I recommend following up with your doctor for a formal evaluation and after care recommendations. It can take up to 6 months to have your final results with a neck lift. Thanks for your question. I think that a month is more than enough time to heal before your performance, so you really shouldn't worry. That said, I routinely advise my patients to wear a supportive wrap ~24/7 for a week, then at night and when at home for the second week. There are wraps available online, but I just have my patients use an ACE wrap, wrapped from under the chin to the back of the head. It should be snug, but not so tight that you can't get a couple of fingers under it. I'm sure your surgeon could give you guidance on this. Good luck with everything!

I personally use a special compression garment for all of my neck lift, sub-mental liposuction and buccal fat pad reduction patients. Speak with your surgeon they should be able to order you something. I have the patients wear it for a full week and then when at home or at rest for several weeks.
