Redness and inflammation after neck lift. Any recommendations? (Photo)

Inflammation and redness can be byproducts of the healing process for a few months after this procedure, particularly in the delicate skin of the neck. I would guess the side effects you are experiencing are a normal part of the recovery process, but if you are concerned, I encourage you to schedule an in-person follow-up with your surgeon. Good evening!Congrats on your face lifting surgery!  Prolonged skin redness after neck lifting in particular can happen with certain skin types- it almost always resolves in a few months.  Sometimes your surgeon may prescribe a mild steroid cream to help - but be sure to check with your surgeon before trying such a treatment.I hope this helps

Time is your friend.  I imagine your facelift surgery was conducted by a well respected Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon with a huge facelift practice-and if so you you have nothing to worry about.  Face and Neck lift surgery is somewhat invasive, and most patients actually need a year for all aspects of swelling, redness and general inflammation to settle.  Hang in there as you wait for your incredible new face and neck to appear over the next 8 months.  Happy healing !!!
