Can Lipomas cause blood clots and can i have plastic surgery to remove them?

I seem to have lipomas (self diagnosed google search( on my thighs, they feel hard as if i have a ball of fat under my skin , my question i want to have plastic surgery can this fat balls cause me to get blood clots?

If a lipoma is rapidly growing in size, causing pain or discomfort, or is associated with any other symptoms then usually insurances including medicare will cover the surgery to remove it.
