I had a dent on the side of my thigh that turned out to be a lipoma (my lipoma did not stick out but rather sunk in causing a "hole"). I had it completely removed bc the MRI looked bad (results were benign) my surgeon said once removed the dent should go away since lipoma isn't pulling anymore. It's been 1.5 months since surgery and although the dent does look less deep/circular, it's still there and I haven't noticed improvement with the dent since surgery. Will this dent fill in over time?

Answer: Will the dent after lipoma removal fill in on it's own?
Lipomas are benign fatty tumors that occur under the skin and less commonly within the muscle. They are associated with mild discomfort and a lump underneath the skin. It is always best to talk to an expert plastic surgeon to determine whether the lipoma is possibly a cyst or a tumor or hernia....
