Hi Birdie, generally speaking - yes, you can have lipo performed twice in the same area, but you need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. For a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), we inject the fat into the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with a combination of Cellfina, subcision, and/or fillers such as Bellafill, Renuva synthetic fat, or Sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; breast lift for excess breast skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin.Overall, you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Yes liposuction can be preformed twice in the same area preformed before, however it may be a bit more difficult to remove fat however it can be done, I suggest seeking board certified plastic surgeons for an in person evaluation. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. I would consult with a plastic surgeon in person, but it is definitely possible to have revision liposuction to the same area. You might have residual scar tissue in the area but an examination in person would give you a more idea of what results you can expect. Good luck!Kamran Azad MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can have lipo a second time in an area that you had lipo on previously. Be sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon.
Thanks for your question. Yes it is possible to have a second liposuction procedure on the areas you treated previously. That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. A key quality indicator is Board Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Liposuction of the same areas can be done every 6 months if needed to contour the areas. As long as it is done under tum. local then it is safe and you are getting the best there is.
birdie01It is most certainly possible to undergo liposuction in the same region, especially 4 years after your original procedure. There may be some residual scar tissue in the area, but this should not affect the final result. Come see me or another board-certified plastic surgeon in the area to explore the best options for you. Good luck.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Yes, liposuction can be performe more than once in the same area. Unfortunately, without pictures, it is very difficult to give you a proper answer. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Thank you for your question. Yes, liposuction can be done in the same area twice. However, the second-time around it may be difficult to remove fat since there can be scar tissue in the area. For the best options make sure you get an in-person consultation with a specialist.
Unfortunately there are no pictures. I perform liposuction on patients who have had previous liposuction. I personally feel one gets a much better result if one uses the SAFE technique that Dr.Swall invented. In addition I’m very excited about a new high tech device used to perform liposuction. It’s called the Vibrastat. (Please see the Vibrastat video on our page). I feel by utilizing this device one gets a much better result especially on patients who have had liposuction done before. Dr.wall, invented a cannula that helps a lot when performing liposuction on patients who have had it before. I hope you find this information useful. Please watch the enclosed video.
Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. The sensation you are experiencing is due to swelling. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal....
Hello. Great question. I am sorry for your post op difficulties. Based on your images it appears you may benefit from skin tightening (BodyTite). Please visit a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed surgical plan to achieve your desired results.
Thank you for asking about your bra cup size.Maybe - liposuction of the upper back and side of the chest will reduce band size, e.g. 38 to a 36But a B cup in a 38 is not the same volume in a B cup in a 36.And a B cup by one manufacturer is not the same volume as a B cup made by another. So if y...
