Follow-up: What might be the cause of this chronic swelling after liposuction? (Photos)

What can be the cause of swelling 9 months post thighs liposuction? They wont get smaller. I was told that maybe it's because I didn't do MLD; also the compression garment wasn't really at my size - Echo Doppler was negative - what are the symptom of scar tissue/lymphedema ?

Great question. Thank you for your pictures. Based on your images, it appears there is no swelling. I will suggest following up with your surgeon as he/she is the one who knows your procedure best.

Based on the photo, you don't seem to have any swelling at all. However, an in-person examination would still be best to make sure. The best resource of information would be your board certified plastic surgeon who did the surgery as he/she knows your condition best. Liposuction usually does not cause delayed swelling especially for more than 6 months. It may be some fat composition or another factor that caused swelling if there is.
