I had gynecomastia surgery 2 weeks ago (lipo only, no gland was removed), and healing had been great. I then had laser hair removal on my chest a 3 of days ago, and since then have noticed that a small area next to my right nipple has hardened/swollen, which I am sure is a consequence of the laser removal on the area. There is no change in colour (ie - doesn't appear to be purple or black). Can someone explain what happened and whether this is something that will go away on its own? Thank you!

It takes 6 months to see the final result, but the puffiness may be the result of eating salty food which causes swelling, or it may have some fluid collected under the nipple which may have hardened. Check with your physician and have patience.
