Hello. I got Radiesse in my jawline yesterday and I hate it! My face looks worse and is shaped like a complete oval now with no angle to my chin. Is there anything I can do? Would chin filler help or just make my face too long? I included one before and three afters (blue shirt is after pics).
Answer: Jaw line filler Hi there, thank you for your question and photos. Sorry to hear that you're unhappy with your fillers. The good news is, it will take up to 2 weeks for everything to settle. You will experience swelling until then, which can cause the area to look fuller. If you're still unhappy after 2 weeks, please consult with your injector regarding. They'll determine the next plan of action to satisfy your needs. Good luck!

Answer: Unhappy with Radiesse Thanks for your question. Don’t panic! Swelling after an injection usually takes about 2 weeks to go down. If you are unhappy with the results after 2 weeks, absolutely go back to your injector to speak with them about your concerns. Radiesse can be partially dissolved so that may be an option. We wish you the best!

Answer: Sculptra Results--Combine with fillers, toxins, lasers, skin care for best results Thank you for your question! If after 2 weeks you are still unhappy with your results, you have options. You can either use a filler dissolver, or next time, try a different approach or treatment to get the results you want These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. PDO Nova threads can also be used to improve shape and also provide lift. Volume and contouring of the face can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. In the right hands, well-placed Sculptra will give you great results. Keep in mind, it takes 3-6 months to see results with Sculptra. Sculptra is a great product for improving facial volume and collagen building, but for best results, I recommend using it in a combination depending on desired results. I combine Sculptra with other fillers, lasers, toxins and skin care to give immediate results.I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert to go over your desired results and recommendations. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Radiesse for Jawline I am not sure why you had Radiesse injected into your jaw line since it didn't need any fillers. Radiesse cannot be dissolved. It is hopeful that this is just swelling at this point and not the result of the filler. At this point I would wait and if yo are unhappy see if they can correct the situation. In the future, please consult an expert in cosmetic dermatology injections and procedures. Best, Dr. Green

Answer: Jaw filler You just had the procedure done yesterday. It will take some time for things to settle down. I usually have my patients come back in 2 weeks to re-evaluate the results. Oftentimes, once the swelling and product have settled the results will look different. Be patient. Radiesse can be dissolved if you are not happy. Discuss your concerns with your provider.
