Dermal filler in forehead and temple, is it safe?

I am Asian , about 45, have some fat loss in my temples and have some hollows in my forehead also, so I have see some doctor, suggest me to have dermal filler for my temple and forehead area, is it safe for injection on these 2areas, and for dermal filler , Restylane vs Juvéderm, which one and which product is better for these 2 areas? I frequently treat the temples and the forehead with dermal fillers in patients and believe when it is done correctly that it is safe.  There are multiple types of fillers that could be used in these areas and each physician will have preferences for which to use in a particular area.

Picking a skilled and reputable practitioner that has thorough knowledge of facial vascular anatomy is imperative. Injecting the temples and forehead come with more risk than say fillers to the cheek and lips. That being said, risk is significantly reduced when you have a practitioner that has the knowledge, skills and judgment to inject that area. As for the type of product, let the practitioner use the one he/she feels most comfortable with and the one that suits you needs and issues best. The product brand is less important than choosing your practitioner correctly.

As long as your doctor is a plastic surgeon or dermatologist and he's using a proper technique for injecting the hollow area of the temple you should be absolutely safe.
