I am curious whether the incision site where the ThermiTight probe enters the skin leaves a permanent scar. I understand that the incision is small and does not require stitches, but it seems that it must still leave a small mark. Thank you.

Answer: Scar from ThermiTight incision site? Thank you for your question. In most patients, there is no real scar. It's much like when you have blood drawn from your arm. Occasionally patients who are sensitive can have small spots/dots that usually go away within a week or so.

Answer: Are there scars after ThermiTight There are really no incisions done during ThermiTight, only 2-3 needle punctures that allow a small radio frequency probe to enter under the skin. These punctures almost always heal without any scars. Occasionally, when liposuction is performed along with ThermiTight, a small 2-3mm incision is made to allow the access for liposuction cannula. Again, it usually heals nearly unnoticeably and is commonly placed in the skin creases for better camouflage.
