I have Voluma in my chin, I am getting Kybella. Is there a slight risk it could dissolve some of the Voluma in my chin?

Because Voluma is made from hyaluronidase and Kybella on affects fat cells, it should not affect any existing Voluma you have. 

I would like to mention that the area you are describing using Kybella (along the side of the jaw where the masseter muscle is) is off label use and could result in adverse side effects. Also the fat you lose there will be permanent, whereas the affects of the Botox will wear off after a couple of months. 

It may be worthwhile to just wait the time for the Botox to wear off. Hope this helps!

Voluma is composed of hyaluronic acid. It can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, but not with deoxycholic acid, which is what Kybella is made of. It's perfectly fine to get Kybella to eliminate a double chin and tighten your jawline even if you have a chin augmentation with Voluma. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who has experience working with both Voluma and Kybella and let him or her know about your fillers.

Kybella consists out of deoxycholic acid which breaks down fat cells. It does not affect hyaluronic acid which is what Voluma is made out of. So no need to worry that your Voluma will be dissolved by Kybella.

There has been no evidence shown that the Kybella injections will cause any of the Voluma in your chin to dissolve. The Kybella will target the fat cells, whereas the filler is a hyaluronic acid. YOu should have no problems.

Kybella will only dissolve fat, so you are perfectly safe with regard to your previous Voluma injection.
