Thank you for sending the picture. I can see that you have a line that starts at the corner of the mouth which extends to the chin. The left side appears worse and deeper. This is called marionette lines. I would suggest trying out Restylane Refyne. This is a new type of filler that allows one to smooth out the indentation caused by the line by restoring volume. There are many fillers out there and the reason I am choosing this particular filler is because it is a flexible filler - meaning that as you smile it can bend and move with your smile which will allow it to look more natural. I would recommend that you go to someone who is very experienced injector who is also familiar with the product since it just came out this year. Best of luck!
Fillers that are soft like belotero, restylane refine/silk, juvederm volbella can be used in this area, however, some of this is because of the fillers you already have and do you have botox in your chin?? You need facial resurfacing, microneedling and long term peels to improve lines around the mouth and promote collagen production. Best, Dr. Emer.
Great question and easy answer. A little BOTOX in your chin can easily soften this line. What doesn't go away with BOTOX can then be filled with a light filler such as Vollure XC.I hope that helps!
Lines in this area can usually be softened with Botox injections to the chin and DAO muscle. With persistence, Vollure or Volluma filler injections can be added. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD
Thanks for sharing your question and photos. I recommend you consider Botox/Dysport injection to the chin and filler injection to the marionette lines (especially on the left). The Botox/Dysport would relax the mentalis muscle which would improve the appearance of the chin dimpling and a filler such as Restylane Defyne would soften the marionette lines. Good luck.
Hi and thank you for your photo. You lines can definitely be fixed with a little botox and filler. I would start with quickest and easiest option such as Botox. If there are remaining movement or shadowing, that can be adjusted with filler such as Juvederm Vollure. Always trust an expert as this type of injections requires expertise as not to leave you with a crooked smile for 4 months. Hope this helps. Best, Dr.Avaliani
Hi and thanks for your question. If the lines comes with muscle movement like smiling it would be difficult to be treated with filler as they move with the muscle contraction . These lines should be part of the anatomy of your face and not again sign . You can definitely try filler injection but do not expect that they will last very long
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
"A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the...
Thank you for your question. Chin augmentation with dermal fillers is a great way to obtain chin projection, symmetry, and balance the facial profile. Appropriately placed fillers allow precise, custom augmentation with no downtime and very natural results. Fillers to the chin allow patients...
Filler can be "stacked" ontop of other fillers and don't necessarily have to be from the same filler family. Each filler has unique properties making it different from others. Restylane Lift and Voluma are compatible. Best Dr. Shah
The use of Bellafil for chin augmentation is a great option. In my experience with hundreds of cases like yours it gives permanent results with no complications. This is not an FDA approved indications but many things we do in medicine are out of the FDA indications. The filler should be placed...
It is difficult to determine whether you would benefit from cheek fillers from you photos. In profile, your chin is recessed and I prefer a chin implant over fillers for the chin. I don't see any platysmal bands so I am not sure why someone suggested Botox for your neck. I have used Botox for...
