I am 23 and I am going to augment my chin using fillers. I was wondering : if I am not happy with the results, will my chin go completely back to the way it was after some time, like the fillers never happened? Will fillers cause my chin skin to become saggy after they're effect is gone?
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Chin fillers Hello there and thank you for your question. Your chin will definitely go back to normal. I prefer to use HA fillers such as Juvederm Volume or Restylane Lift because they are natural, safe, buildable and reversible!. If you hate or dislike the way your chin will look, this can be fixed almost immediately. This is a great option to try before you buy a more permanent solution. You can start with HA fillers first, then you can move to Sculptra for a longer lasting option or just go with chin implant. All these options should be discussed at the time of your consultation. It usually takes 2-3 cc of product to see some difference, occasionally more. Hope this helps. Best, Dr.Avaliani

Answer: Chin fillers For chin fillers use an HA product such as Vollure. This will only last a year or so, and if you don't like it, it can be removed almost immediately with Hyaluronidase injection. I like to use a technique called microdots with a very fine gauge needle. It is much more comfortable, and gives a very smooth appearance. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD

Answer: Chin augmentation Hi and thanks for your question. Most of the fillers we are using in these days are HA base and this can be dissolved with hyaloronidase. Even with no treatment they will disappear in 6-9 month.

Answer: Chin augmentation with fillers Great question. The results from hyaluronic acid based fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Voluma as well as certain biostimulatory fillers such as Radiesse (+) and Sculptra will wear off over time and depending on the filler can take 1-2 years. For the chin, I prefer using Restylane Lyft or Juvederm Voluma which are both hyaluronic acid based products. HA fillers can also be reversed using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Your chin would return to its baseline appearance after the filler wears off.
