I had a treatment for age spots and some spider veins-over my whole face. I had extensive swelling and bumps under the skin.

Is this kind of swelling normal? It has been one week-I am much, much better, and my skin looks good, but I still have swelling under my chin on the right side of my neck-How long before all swelling is expected to go away? thank you?

Swelling following laser is normal, especially if you had multiple things treated in one shot. Since you say it is improved considerably one week out, I would say there is no cause for concern. It is dependent upon the procedure of course but in some cases residual swelling from laser treatments or filler can last up to two weeks. Give it another five days and if you still see swelling, I would advise a follow-up with the person who performed your laser.
