This reduces inflammation, and causes your heart to pump faster thus delivering more blood and oxygen to your organs. Do you think this will help speed-up the healing process?

If you are wearing the garment and having massage this will slowly reduce.
In the first few weeks you tend to retain water (hence the swelling) and thus your weight will not reduce, but sometimes increase.
