Is Hydrafacial recommended for oily skin and how often should I get them?

We typically recommend that patients with oily skin come in  once a month for a Hydrafacial. It is a great treatment to remove anything that can become stuck in larger pores! You will begin to see better results as time progresses. 

Thank you for your question.  We typically have all outr patients come in once a month to do Hydrafacials. The Hydrafacial treatment deeply cleanses the skin, exfoliates, extracts clogged pores and infuses antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid into the skin.  When done on a regular basis it helps to reduce lines, increase firmness, even skin tone, texture and reduce enlarged pores.

At the same time it is exfoliating with a suction it is infuses all the nutrients back into the skin with antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. It is recommended to get Hydrafacial's once a month. Using medical grade products will also enhance the benefits of the Hydrafacial. Another treatment that is best to help with pore size is Microneedling. This treatment works by creating tiny micro-channels into the skin to help stimulate and build collagen. HydraFacial can be a great option for oily or congested skin, but one session may not be enough if your oil production is naturally high and your pores clog easily. If one HydraFacial wasn’t “impressive,” it could be that you need a more personalized approach or a more frequent initial series to see tangible improvements. We have had excellent results for our patients with oily skin.  Initially, you may need to come in every three or four weeks.  If you are just getting a Signature Hydrafacial, consider adding lymphatic treatment and red light therapy.  These are very helpful for addressing problems of oily skin.
