Is Hydrafacial recommended for oily skin and how often should I get them?

I had one treatment of Hydrafacial and wasn’t very impressed. I have a type of skin that gets clogged very fast. I can be squeezing the pores all day and the oil that comes out is never ending and I feel that my skins needs a deep cleaning everyday. Even if I don’t get any pimple and use products like Salicylic Acid, if I squeeze there will be oil coming out. I also have enlarged pores. How often should I get Hydrafacial?

We typically recommend that patients with oily skin come in  once a month for a Hydrafacial. It is a great treatment to remove anything that can become stuck in larger pores! You will begin to see better results as time progresses.

Hi There,Hydrafacial is a great treatment for all skin types but also great for oily prone skin. The Hydrafacial is a three step process that deep cleanses the skin, exfoliates and extracts. At the same time it is exfoliating with a suction it is infuses all the nutrients back into the skin with antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. It is recommended to get Hydrafacial's once a month. Using medical grade products will also enhance the benefits of the Hydrafacial. If one HydraFacial wasn’t “impressive,” it could be that you need a more personalized approach or a more frequent initial series to see tangible improvements. We have had excellent results for our patients with oily skin.  Initially, you may need to come in every three or four weeks.  If you are just getting a Signature Hydrafacial, consider adding lymphatic treatment and red light therapy.  These are very helpful for addressing problems of oily skin.
