Fillers then PDL or PDL and then fillers?

Question

I want to have fillers done as soon as possible, but I also want to remove thread veins on the face using PDL (mainly on and around nose and on chin). In which order should I do them, bearing in mind that I would have to do more than one session of PDL 4-6 weeks apart and I would probably need 2 or 3 sessions. I don't really want to wait 4 months to get filler if I start PDL now, but I also don't want to get bad results/complications or waste money if I get fillers first. Which is the best way to do this?

I would do the filler first--the PDL laser or pretty much any laser can follow up right afterwards on the same visit.  It should not disturb the filler and is very commonly done together.  The laser will not cause the filler to go away faster or disrupt it in any way.  It's a good idea not to exercise for 48 hours after treatment.

You can definitely have the PDL laser the same day before the fillers or even the next day after the fillers.  There is no reason to wait for this procedure since I often do them on the same day.  Please consult an expert in fillers and lasers for the best cosmetic results.  Best, Dr. Green
