Filler comes out through the pores (superficial filler)?

Thank you for your question. I suggest leaving the filler alone. Don't squeeze it. The product should settle given more time. If after a few days there is no improvement, follow up with your injector. 

There are times that the filler gets extruded superficially though the skin.  I would leave it along for a few days and see if it settles.  If not, the superficial part can be dissolved with Vitrase.  Best, Dr. Green

Thanks for your question. Why would you be squeezing out your filler you paid money for?  Leave it alone – let it be and let it settle. Most dermal fillers are placed in the dermis and occasionally one might see the filler protrude out when injecting.  This is not very common and squeezing HA filler to see what might happen to your pores is all bizarre.  Leave things be!!

Hi there, When filler is injected too superficially it can be seen under the skin, which is not aesthetically ideal. However it does not put you at increased risk for infection. If the filler is hyaluronic acid ( i.e. Juvederm, Restlyane, Belotero) which is a clear gel, it will be absorbed by your skin with time. I would not recommend squeezing it out yourself, I would follow up with your injector, or find an experienced practitioner to take a look at your chin and determine the best course of action.
