How can I fix this dent on my nose? Would a filler work? (photos)

The depression can be fixed nicely with subcision under local and the addition of either a filler or a thin eptfe implant.

Thank you for your question. In our experience, dermal filler can have fantastic results at changing the profile of the nose. Results are visible straight away and last around 18 months. I would suggest that you book a face to face consultation with an experienced medical health professional to discuss the procedure and outcomes that you wish to achieve.

This scar can be improved with laser spot treatment, fillers, microneedling/prp and subcision to help texture and blending. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

You could start with fillers (also called liquid rhinoplasty) which will give you an idea of the look that could be achieved.  If this is the look you desire, you could then consider a cosmetic rhinoplasty as this would give you a long lasting result.  Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon or otorhinolaryngologist with experience and expertise in rhinoplasty surgery.  Ask to see before and after photos of their own patients.

Thank you for your question. There any many ways to address this 'dent" but in my opinion I would start with subcision and  a  Dermal Filler treatment with a Cosmetic Doctor. You will be able to ascertain right away whether the Filler was effective in lifting the 'dent' or not. If not, a combine approach of PRP micro-needling might help to further lift the indentation.

You would know immediately if filler works to lift this scar.  If the scar is not "bound down" to the tissue below it should lift.   If so, treatments of small amounts of filler once or twice yearly will keep this corrected. 

Hi,There is a good change that carefully placed dermal filler can improve the appearance of that indentation. I would recommend visiting with a provider that has experience in both nose surgery and injecting the nose with fillers for the best results.Best,

Thanks for your question. yes this could be corrected with filler but please seek the advice of an experienced injector and one that is confident in dealing with noses as this is a delicate area. there are other options available such as laser and micro needling
